To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Tex Willer, one of the oldest and most famous Italian comic characters in the world, the Museo della Permanente in Milan is hosting a major exhibition.
Curated by Gianni Bono, historian and scholar of Italian comics, in collaboration with the editorial staff of Sergio Bonelli Editore, the exhibition tells how the character of Tex, created in 1948 by Giovanni Luigi Bonelli and the designer Aurelio Galeppini, managed to enter the cultural scene of Italians, conquering different generations thanks to his deep sense of justice and generosity. In addition to being a hero, Tex has become a real costume phenomenon, establishing himself for years as the best-selling comic in Italy and among the best sellers in the world.
Through drawings, original plates, photographs, rare and sometimes never seen before materials and through themed installations created specifically for this event, the exhibition traces the epic of Tex Willer, which is also that of the American Frontier. Limiteazero designed installations, graphics and interactive exhibits for the exhibition.
