The commitment to the protection and conservation of Italian biodiversity.
As part of environmental diplomacy initiatives aimed at promoting Italy's commitment to environmental protection, the Carabinieri Environmental and Agrifood Forestry Units Command (CUFA) organized an exhibition on the activities of this Command, which was first held in New York at the UN Building and then at the MACRO in Rome.
The exhibition recounts the centuries-old commitment of the Carabinieri Corps to the protection and conservation of nature and highlights the commitment of CUFA to the protection and conservation of biodiversity, through land surveillance activities, and to the management of 150 state nature reserves and state areas and to the surveillance of Italian national parks.
Through information panels and interactive exhibits, the visitor discovers the enormous wealth of Italian biodiversity inside an installation built with wood that comes from plants that died from natural causes within the biodiversity reserves managed by the Carabinieri, giving a further sign of the environmental vocation of the Body.
