Muse is a digital art exhibition held at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, in the context of which a peculiar and unprecedented synthesis of new languages, technologies and sustainability was explored. The body of works, the result of an international call for entries, was selected by a jury consisting of Julia Rajacic (main curator), Ilaria Bonacossa, Domenico Quaranta and Gabriella Galati.
Limiteazero played an advisory role in exhibition design, developing the design constraint of a digital exhibition with near-zero emissions, through the identification of a series of strategies to make the set-up conform to the most stringent ecological parameters: from the recycling of support elements for the works, to the engraving of graphic elements on recyclable media. Key elements for the exhibition turned out to be the new Tableux produced by Philips, the exhibition's technical sponsor, i.e., devices based on an innovative color ePaper, which, when not activated to change subjects, do not consume any electricity.
