Maire Tecnimont has commissioned us two temporary interventions for the inauguration of the new Milanese headquarters based in the Porta Garibaldi tower. A structure composed of a sequence of parallelepipeds distributed regularly on a square plan, degrading in height, defines the shape of the first construction. At the top of the emergencies, an LED panel is surmounted by a sheet of frosted glass, creating a soft blurring effect that attenuates the geometric rigor of the sequences of patterns generated in real time by an audiovisual software designed ad hoc; the coating in mirroring material of the entire composition emphasizes the prismatic character of the installation in which infinite reflections pause the eyes of the visitors. On the top floor of the skyscraper, a small gallery has been created that welcomes guests in the most exclusive area of the building, the interactive steles formed by two monitors placed vertically alternate generative patterns with dynamic portraits of visitors rendered with a measured graphic style when they pass through the installation rooms; the room reverberates the slight virtuosity coming from a harp played in a space adjacent to the intervention.
