This "Multiuser_visual_sound_system" is a very simple experiment using Macromedia multiuser server engine.
This piece explores a non textual communication between users, making them interact with an online synaesthetic instrument, forcing them to synchronies together with a shared composition.
The application is supposed to be used from two users. Both of them can interact using numeric keys from 1 to 5 of the keyboard.
Each key corresponds to a sound sample and a random generated shape: squares for the first user and circles for the second one.
At the bottom of the window takes place a control panel in order to adjust sound volume, size and blend percentage of shapes. Users can also see which
keys are pressed by each other.
The original software is no longer working.
