The animation above shows how the user can interact with the handled device inside the art gallery.
At the moment, the navigation throughout the exhibited works is managed by a system of numbered labels positioned next to each piece. The visitor has a numbered grid on the screen of his device so that he can choose the contents he wishes to download and in what order to view them.
For each piece the content can consist of text, ../images, audio or video files, and even information about the price. An automatic recognition system, using infrared, is under development.

What we did is very simple: we set up a bi-directional network. A server connected to the Internet by an optical fiber, supplies information both to the Internet and to the local wireless area inside the art gallery.
